Health Tec Medical are pleased to announce that as part of our drive to improve patient safety in the UK by reducing injuries and deaths due to venous needle dislodgement we have added the HEDclip to our product portfolio.
The purpose of the product is to fixate medical tubes during various situations associated with a hospital stay - hereunder dialysis tubes, an IV, oxygen tubes etc. HEDclip makes sure that the tubes do not fall off the patient during the treatment process and that the needles do not become detached from the patient. The product will give the patient more freedom to move thus making the treatment period more constructive. HEDclip will replace the tape that is currently being used to fixate the tubes. |
